Becky Hammon is a seven-time WNBA All-Star, Olympic bronze medalist and the first paid, full-time female assistant coach in NBA history. Before making her NBA debut, Hammon played 16 years in the WNBA—eight seasons for the San Antonio Stars (2007-14) and eight seasons for the New York Liberty (1999-2006). She’s been inducted into the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame for her time playing collegiately for Colorado State, as well as the San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame. Hammon now enters her sixth season as an assistant coach for the Spurs.
