From high school to the NFL, Mickey Grace is making strides for women in sports. Mickey started her football journey as an All-City defensive end at Germantown High School in Philadelphia, PA. She then went on to play D1 Women’s Rugby at West Chester University while volunteering at Dr. MLK Jr High School, where she was named defensive line coach that same season.
Since then, Coach Mickey has made momentous strides in her career, as evident in her most recent endeavor as an intern of the defensive line at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018 and Miami Dolphins Bill Walsh Fellow in 2020. She served as the acting head coach of Women’s Football Alliance (women’s professional football) Philadelphia team, the Philly Phantomz; where Coach Mickey still holds a seat on the board. In the off season she also trains all levels of athletes most notably including 7 Super Bowl champions with Probing Elite Fitness and Performance.
She enters into her 5 year as the Defensive Line and Assistant Coach at Mastery Charter North Football Program, servicing 5 different Mastery High Schools. In addition to being a Scouting apprentice for the LA Rams
Coach Mickey is an advocate for student athletes of all sports and at all levels, for mental health, for women in sports and is deemed a major example for women football coaches at the highest level. Encompassing all parts of her dynamic she coins the hashtag #ShesMyCoach.
