Nohelani (Lani) Lawrence, Psy.D., is the Director of Wellness and Clinical Services for the New York Football Giants. Within her position she oversees the Player Engagement Program, mental health & crisis services, and assists with draft assessment. Prior to joining the Giants, Dr. Lani was a clinical and sport psychologist at the University of Southern California and has been a consultant for USA Track and Field since 2013. She is a licensed psychologist and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Lani is a member of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Sport Psychology Registry. Her consulting practice has allowed her to work with high school, professional and Olympic athletes. She has been a consultant for USA Track and Field since 2013 and most recently served as the Lead Sport Psychologist for the IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar. In 2019, she was awarded the USATF Dr. C. Harmon Brown Award, which is given to individuals for their outstanding contributions in Sports Medicine & Science.
